​​​​​ADUs - INCOME SECURITY, HEALTH + CULTURAL CONSERVATION.  AARP is partnered with blink!LAB architecture to fund the creation of an ADU Design Catalog. Our two firms are aligned in the belief that ADUs have a role to play in maintaining healthy, livable communities. The Design Catalog is only one of the components in blink!LAB's larger on-going study into the history and formation of our cities as reflections of migration patterns under-pinned by economic (im)mobility.  ADUs are interesting to us because they represent the smallest independent housing unit with the greatest latent potential for cultural conservation and economic stability.here> and here>

The introduction of the Hoover Durant PopUP Library re-centers its residents towards the idea of "here". Here, we are a community that cares. Here we socialize. It is a temporary monument where its physical and programmatic contents can re-activate street corners as civic assets.

The new lamp for 2019. DESIGN EXPLORATIONS FUND PUBLIC DESIGN. Our in-house 3D printer, CNC Machine and to access local fabricators combined, allows us to research bespoke craftsmanship alongside traditional production techniques. Sale of our objects help fund community design projects.​
